RNC CHAIRMAN
REINCE PRIEBUS ANNOUNCES TRANSITION FINANCE TEAM
WASHINGTON
–
Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus released
the
following statement announcing the RNC Transition Finance team that is
charged
with raising the necessary funds to elect Republicans in 2011 and 2012: The
team is lead by national co-chairs Sam Fox, Ron Weiser and Al Hoffman –
veteran Republican fundraisers who will help restore relationships with
donors.
Just five days into Chairman Priebus’ term, the group has secured a
meeting at the RNC next Tuesday with some of the nation’s top
Republican
fundraisers. “It
is time for the RNC to tighten its belt, get rid of wasteful spending
and bring
money in the door to fund key operations for the next cycle. We have
the
opportunity to put a Republican in the White House and take back the
United States
Senate, but there is work to be done with the Democrats looking to
spend nearly
a billion dollars. This team of influential fundraisers gives the
committee
what it needs to restore our donors’ trustand
I
look forward to hitting the ground running with them.”– RNC Chairman Reince Priebus “If
we are to prevail in the 2012 presidential election, it is imperative
that the
necessary resources be made available. The RNC has an impressive
history
of success raising significant funds used to elect Republican
candidates.
Chairman Priebus’ organizational and management skills are impressive,
and I am certain he will serve his term of office with
distinction. I am
honored to be a member of his team.”– Sam Fox
