Story GOP Chair Cory Adams Endorses Ron Paul for President

Chair of county that is home to Ames prefers Paul

ANKENY, Iowa– Story County Republican chairman Cory Adams today endorsed Texas Congressman Ron Paul for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.

“Many declared and undeclared Republicans are vying for the GOP nomination but only Ron Paul articulates and demonstrates a clear devotion to constitutionally limited government.  With Ron Paul as President, Iowans and all Americans would have leadership that is in step with conservative family values, is fiscally responsible, puts forth a strong national defense our armed services men and women endorse, and protects civil liberties at home,” said Mr. Adams.

Story County is home to Ames, the city in central Iowa 30 miles north of Des Moines that hosts the famous Ames Straw Poll.  This year’s Ames Straw Poll will take place on Saturday, August 13, 2011.

Mr. Adams made his endorsement before a crowd of Ron Paul supporters on Monday, July 25th at the congressman’s meet-and-greet at the Hilton Garden Inn, located at 1325 Dickinson Avenue, Ames.  The endorsement occurred in association with the Iowa component of the 2012 Ron Paul Presidential Campaign.
