Ron Paul Colorado Team
Salutes New ‘Veterans for Ron Paul’ Nationwide
Coalition Members
Heroes hail from Denver, Fort Collins,
Westminster, and Louisville and
pledge to boost outreach efforts for fellow veteran Paul
DENVER, Colorado –
The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign announced today new members of
its active “Veterans for Ron Paul” nationwide coalition.
Today’s additions hail from Denver, El Paso, Jefferson, and Boulder
counties, all Colorado, and pledge to support Dr. Paul and spread the
word among their respective communities concerning the 12-term Texas
Congressman’s staunch advocacy for veterans’ issues.
Denver resident Brynn Hoffmann is a retired sailor who served on the
USS Nimitz in Charleston, South Carolina, and San Diego,
California.
The eight-year veteran said, “Ron Paul is the only Congressman that
holds true to his oath of office. He is uncompromising in his
defense
of our God-given liberties that are guaranteed by the Constitution.”
Kyle Frei, another Denver resident, is a Marine Sergeant with five
years of service. He gave his take speaking as someone who has
tired
of the political status quo, stating, “Ron Paul is the only politician
that does not care about politics. He cares about what is right
for
this country and he does not flip-flop on topics.”
“He understands that the Constitution is what made this country great
in the first place,” concluded Mr. Frei.
Fort Collins-area resident Kemper Harris, an Air Force and Air National
Guard veteran, served in the military 20 years. Harris stated
what
attracted him to Dr. Paul, saying, “Ron Paul is the only person running
with integrity and true Republican values.”
Ken Maddis, a Westminster resident, served as a Marine for four years.
The former Sergeant states “We all joined to protect our country and
uphold the Constitution. However, it seems like veterans are the only
people in this country who are committed to the Constitution.
It's
time to get Washington to uphold the Constitution, not their reelection
campaigns, or their pockets.”
Philip Prine served in the Marine Corps for four years and is based out
of Louisville, in Boulder County. Mr. Prine focused on Dr. Paul’s
commitment to veterans, stating, “American veterans deserve a President
who supports the Constitutional freedoms and liberty that we
volunteered to defend. The only candidate who puts Americans and
their
Constitutional rights first is Ron Paul.”
A flight surgeon during the Cold War era, Paul’s commitment to veterans
was showcased in the campaign’s television ad ‘
He Served’. The campaign’s more recent
television ad titled ‘
Secure’ highlights Dr. Paul’s plan to keep America
safe.
In addition to the support veterans give Dr. Paul, the
congressman also receives more donations from active-duty military
than the rest of the Republican and Democratic field combined,
according to a new,
internal analysis.
As a function of this announcement, all of the above-mentioned persons
are members of the “Veterans for Ron Paul” nationwide coalition, in
particular its Colorado steering committee.
