Feb. 27, 2009--Making his third
appearance at CPAC, former Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA) received a unusually
generous introduction from David Keene. Keene described Romney as
"someone who gets it" and "one of the family." In his last
appearance at CPAC, little more than a year ago, Romney ended his
campaign for the Republican presidential nomination. This time he
spoke on the economic crisis and national security in a speech titled "the pursuit of the difficult."
Romney is Honorary Chairman of the Free and Strong America PAC.
