First Annual Gala, Cuban-American oncologist Dr. Orlando Silva was
presented with the Outstanding Hispanic Award and retiring Congressman
Lincoln Diaz-Balart (R-FL) received the Lifetime Achievement
Award.
Former Columbian President Alvaro Uribe was honored with the Freedom
Award; he acknowledged the award in video remarks. |
