37th Annual Conservative Political Action Conference,  February 18-20, 2010
February 18, 2010--After an introductions by Jay Sekulow and newly elected Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA), former Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA) addressed the conference. Romney sharply criticized President Obama whom, he said "fails to understand America."  "President Obama instituted the most anti-growth, anti-investment, anti-jobs measures we've seen in our lifetimes," Romney said. "The people of America are looking to conservatives for leadership, and we must not fail them," he declared.  "We will insist on greatness from every one of our citizens, and rather than apologizing for who we are or for what we have accomplished, we will celebrate our nation's strength and goodness," Romney said.
