May 14, 2010--"I am an always
have been unapologetically pro-life," former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin
told the audience at the Susan B. Anthony List's "Celebration of Life"
breakfast, held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade
Center. Palin likened the audience to "mama grizzly bears that rise up
on their hind legs when somebody's
coming to attack their cubs, to do something adverse toward their
cubs." She received a standing ovation when she spoke of her
son
Trig, who was born with Down syndrome. "Trigg has been the best thing
that ever happened to me and to the Palin family," she said. [transcript]
