February 10-12, 2011--Marking the centennial (Feb. 6, 2011) of Ronald Reagan's birth, The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library was one of nine CPAC sponsors. Attendees could grab small packages of Jelly Belly® jelly beans at its booth, in addition to entering a drawing for tickets to the first presidential debate of this cycle, to be held May 2 at the Reagan Library.  On the final day of the conference, attendees could buy sheets of the Ronald Reagan centennial stamps.  The Ronald Reagan Centennial Celebration encompasses a year of programs, events and activities.
The Reagan centennial stamps, designed by Bart Forbes of Plano, TX, were unveiled at the Reagan Library on Feb. 7 and officially released Feb. 10.  The U.S. Postal Service also issued a 37-cent Reagan stamp in Feb. 2005.
According the the Jelly Belly® website:

"Throughout his two terms in office, the Governor ate Herm's [Herman Goelitz Rowland, Sr.] jelly beans and ultimately wrote that famous letter saying "we can hardly start a meeting or make a decision without passing around the jar of jelly beans." (You can see a replica of the letter at the Jelly Belly Visitor Center).

"The new style Jelly Belly beans were sent to Ronald Reagan in his regular shipment to the state Capital and later in the many years after he left that office. Then the Governor became the President. Ronald Reagan made Jelly Belly beans a staple in the Oval Office, on Air Force One and Marine One after he was elected president.

"President Reagan's passion for jelly beans inspired Blueberry flavor, which was cooked up so he could serve red, white, and blue beans at his inaugural parties..."
