February 12, 2011--Pollster Tony Fabrizio announced the results of the Straw Poll, which was sponsored by the Washington Times this year. The ballot [.doc] included 15 names plus "Other" and "Undecided." The time required to count the ballots meant that the Friday afternoon cutoff occurred before some potential candidates spoke. A record 3,742 votes were cast. When Rep. Ron Paul was announced as the winner, near pandemonium broke out. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
