During the rally, a few
attendees handed out flyers
promoting one or another cause. This one is for a "Tea Party
Activist Boot Camp" sponsored by
the Ronald Reagan Institute. Other flyers promoted a Committee
For The Republic petition calling for spending cuts in all departments
including the DOD; the website AmericanJobCreators.com (from the House
Oversight Committee, Darryl Issa, chairman); the Heritage Foundation's
"Morning Bell" e-mails; and Ken Vaughn, a Tea Party activist running
against Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA); and Alan R. Davis from Chillicothe, OH
handed out materials questioning the economic assumptions underlying
the budget.
