Grand Opening of PIC Merchandise Store
Jan. 11, 2013--The Presidential Inaugural Committee opened a merchandise store at 1155 F Street, N.W. in downtown Washington, DC.  Dozens of shoppers crowded the store, stocking up on commemorative items ranging from T-shirts to teddy bears.  PIC senior advisors Ben LaBolt and Marlon Marshall and merchandise director Meaghan Burdick (below) spoke and the Washington Nationals racing president Abraham Lincoln and the Ballou Senior High School marching band put in appearances.

A sign on the cash register in the store states:

"Every purchase is a donation to the Presidential Inaugural Commmittee 20123.  Federal law requires us to report the name and address of anyone donating $200 or more in the aggregate.  Please ask for a donation form if you have, or will, cross this threshold.
