Today, the Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) announced the launch of the 2013 Runway to Win Inaugural Edition. Top American designers have again volunteered their talents to create unique pieces to celebrate the Inauguration of President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden. Merchandise designed by Yigal Azrouël, Tory Burch, Prabal Gurung, Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough of Proenza Schouler, Tracy Reese, Narciso Rodriguez, Rachel Roy and Vera Wang will be available.

Supporters can purchase Runway to Win Inaugural Edition merchandise online at store.2013pic.org/runway-to-win or at the PIC’s retail store opening later this week at 1155 F St. NW in downtown Washington, DC. All unique Runway to Win pieces will reflect the belief that this inauguration is not just a celebration of a president, it's a celebration of the American people.

The effort is the latest in a series of Runway collections begun with 2008's Runway to Change and 2009's Runway to Change Inaugural Edition. In 2012, Runway to Win comprised three collections and the Runway to Win contest, eventually including designs from 33 top American designers and three design contest winners in support of the President’s re-election. By contributing designs to each of these previous efforts, the Runway to Win Inaugural Edition marks the fourth collection to benefit President Obama for many of the participating designers.

Every item available from the Runway to Win Inaugural Edition is made in the USA.
