Folding Poster
Student work, Fall 2009.
Campaign 2008 - Two sides (front shows general election information; the back of the fully opened poster covers the nominating campaigns and conventions). Finished 11.5" x 8.5". Flat 34" x 22". Five folds. Three color (Pantone 2945U, Pantone 186U, and black). Font: Franklin Gothic. Major challenges were generating the content and figuring out what to include and how to organize it all in a logical way. The poster could be used as a premium for magazine subscriptions. One could produce a similar poster after every presidential campaign.

Newsletter (conservative version)
Student work, Fall 2009.
National Gallery of Art - Front and inside. This is a fairly conservative design to reflect the institution. A challenge was to fit all the content in.
Newsletter (bumblebee version)
Student work, Fall 2009.
National Gallery of Art - Front and inside. After putting together a conservative design for the National Gallery's monthly newsletter, I attempted a more dynamic version, putting the content at an angle and using bright yellow. The diagonal design proved very challenging in terms of fitting all the content in.
Annual Report
Student work, Fall 2009.
Sallie Mae - Front and two spreads. I sought a solidly conservative corporate look. One challenge of this project was to make sense of the very dense text provided.
