Ambassador Mark Green Is The Former
Ambassador To Tanzania And A Former Wisconsin Congressman. Green
was
appointed
by President George W. Bush to serve as Ambassador to
Tanzania from 2007 to 2009. He was a member of the U.S. House of
Representatives representing Wisconsin’s 8th District from
1998 to 2006. Prior to his election to Congress, Green was a member of
Wisconsin State Assembly and chaired the Assembly Republican Caucus.
