Chairman  Bill Armistead

(elected Feb. 19, 2011) Candidate for lieutenant governor in 2002.  In 1994, Armistead was elected state senator for Senate District 1; he served two terms. Chief economic advisor for Gov. Guy Hunt, 1988-93. Co-founder (2000) of Fidelity Information Systems.  Began his career with Saunders Leasing System in Birmingham as a management trainee and worked his way up to senior vice president; also served as vice president at McDonnell Douglas and Hanna Steel.

Executive Director  T.J. Maloney

(started March 21, 2011) Maloney has worked in ten different states including both political and corporate.  Experience includes campaign manager for Allen Alley’s 2010 gubernatorial campaign in Oregon; for state Sen. Brad Zaun’s 2010 race in Iowa’s 3rd CD; and for Wayne Parker's 2008 bid for Congress in Alabama's 5th CD; also involved in Mike Huckabee's presidential campaign.
