Santorum’s PAC Adds Advisory Committee Members in
New Hampshire
Washington,
DC – Former Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) announced today four
additional members to America’s Foundation’s Advisory Committee in New
Hampshire. In their role on this committee, Richard Girard, Brock
Weber, and Charlie and Laura Morgan will help inform Senator Santorum
and America’s Foundation about the concerns and issues important to New
Hampshire families.
Manchester native Richard Girard
will serve on the Advisory Committee and will assist with policy
issues. He is a former candidate for Mayor of Manchester
and worked
closely with Manchester Mayor Ray Wieczorek in the 1990s as his
campaign manager and part of his senior staff. He also served the
citizens of Manchester as Alderman At-Large from January 1998 to
January 2000. Girard is an entrepreneur who has owned several
companies and currently owns his own financial service firm.
Brock
Weber, a student at St. Anselm College in Manchester, will serve on
America’s Foundation’s College Republican Advisory Committee to assist
with outreach on college campuses across New Hampshire. Weber has
worked on several political campaigns at the local and state level
where he helped shape policy positions and messaging strategy.
Currently, Weber is a member of the New Hampshire College Republican
Federation's Executive Committee and Chairman of St. Anselm College
Republicans. In 2008, Weber supported Mitt Romney in the
Republican
primary.
Charlie and Laura Morgan, also of Manchester, will advise on small
business issues. Charlie Morgan has launched several successful
real estate development, construction, self-storage and high-tech
companies. As founder and CEO of Morgan Self Storage, his innovations
have introduced customers to new and diverse secure storage, moving and
facility usage options making his multi-functional facilities in high
demand. Laura Morgan runs Morgan Storage with her husband and is very
active member of the community volunteering her time to worthy causes
like Vision International Mission.
“I
am grateful to have Richard, Brock, Charlie and Laura as part of our
advisory team in New Hampshire. In the coming weeks and months,
I’ll
be engaged with them to discuss the issues most important to families
across New Hampshire,” said Senator Santorum. “I am very
encouraged by
the response we are getting across the Granite State as I continue to
consider a run for president in 2012.”
Earlier
this month, Senator Santorum announced that former Manchester GOP Chair
Jerry Thibodeau and State Representative Daniel Tamburello are also
serving as volunteer Advisory Committee members for America’s
Foundation in New Hampshire. Additional Advisory Committee
Members
will be announced in the coming weeks and months.
