"Independence Day" +
  1:15 web video from July 2, 2011.

[Music] Gingrich (voiceover): When the Founding Fathers on July 4th signed the Declaration of Independence, they were engaging in one of the most heroic acts in history.

Here was this relatively small band of people who believed in freedom and they were about to take on the most powerful empire in the world.

(to camera): We are a unique people.  We have an exceptional history and we have been endowed by our Creator with these rights.  [Fireworks SFX]  Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

That's why we're going to talk over and over in this campaign about American exceptionalism, because on the 4th of July we should remember...being an American means that our rights come from our Creator, and that belief in a citizen-centered country has implications for solving America's problems today, implications for moving power back from the bureaucrats, back from the politicians, back from the judges, to the people.  Which is why "we the people" is how our Founding Fathers began the Constitution.  And that's why the 4th of July is so important.

Notes: Gingrich talking to the camera about the importance of the 4th of July.  Mixed in are some patriotic scenes including the Declaration, the Founding Fathers, a flag and the Capitol.
