Early Campaign Videos (July 2011)

The Obama campaign produced a couple of interesting videos, one on 2nd quarter fundraising and a policy-oriented one on Wall Street reform.  Possibly the most notable video of the month was Pawlenty's "Aspirations of a President," which featured Pawlenty and his wife Mary talking about faith.  The Huntsman campaign continues with its semi-daily snippet videos.  It is the Romney campaign, however that is making most effective use of videos to drive its message.  The economy is the central focus of most of the videos.  In "Obama Isn't Working: New Hampshire" and "Take China To The Mat," small businessmen tell their stories, while also noting failings of the Obama adminstration.  Another Romney video "Mitt on the Road: North Country" paints Romney as a down to earth guy, driving his car, or at least a car.
