Romney for President, Inc.

"Mitt on the Road: New Hampshire Town Hall" +
2:02 web video from June 9, 2011.

Man (audio, introducing Romney): Thank you for attending a New Hampshire town meeting, a staple of New Hampshire politics, where you take your job serious as a New Hampshire citizen to vet the candidates before our first-in-the-nation primary.  Pleased to have him back in the state, Mrs. Romney, governor—

Romney: Thank you.  You're very generous to applaud even though we haven't said much yet, and I appreciate that a number of you got up this morning—

Man 1 (to camera): I just really was interested in hearing what his thoughts were on the economy, on how we're going to deal with the debt problem, what we're going to do with health care and all the issues facing us.

Man 2 (to camera): The specifics.  There was a guy that asked a question, you know I thought it was a good question, it was a tough question because everything's done in soundbites.  And the guy's like, how about a plan, I mean tell us what you would do?  And Romney named seven things right off the bat.  This is what we need in the White House, we need substance.

Romney: I'm committed and devoted to making the number one job I have as President of the United States going to work to get the American people back to work.

Man 3 (to camera): And I like the way he handles himself—intent on listening to what the person is asking, and he comes up with a very reasonable answer.

Romney: We simply can't imagine passing on to the next generation our bills.  I want to pass on to the next generation a torch, not a debt.

Woman (to camera): He's got the right ideas of how to turn this country around, and we're very disappointed in Obama.  Change he promised just was not what we in this country needed. We can't have four more years of him, we just can't.

Romney: New Hampshire has a loud voice.  The fact that you're here this morning speaks volumes about the interest of the people of New Hampshire in choosing a leader who will get America right again.

Man 2 (to camera): For me I want the best candidate who can really address the issue of the economy; not just say a few things to get an applause, but someone who actually understands the nuts and bolts of the economy, and to me that was the deciding factor in choosing to support gov. Romney.

Notes:  A nice mix of New Hampshire voters speaking to the camera and clips of Romney from the town hall.
