Ken Yang
: My name is Ken Yang and I'm with Newt because I'm a first generation immigrant and my parents moved to Arkansas.  In 1984 they opened up a small business.  It was very successful especially when the Speaker was Speaker of the House.  And now today they're in their 60s, they deserve to retire but they can't.  They can't sell their restaurant.  Business is bad.  We started out in '97 with twelve employees; now we have zero employees because we can't hire anyone.  And my parents deserve to retire, and I want to make sure that they get that chance to retire so I've travelled to Iowa, South Carolina and Florida now to volunteer for Newt because I think it's that important that the American Dream, that I'm living because of my parents, continues on.

Well what I've been telling people that are undecided is that you look at history, moderate Republicans do not win presidential elections.  That's just the way it is.  You have to have a clear conservative that will have a clear contrast with the Democrat.  You can ask Bob Dole, John McCain, as recently as Jon Huntsman, Rudy Giuliani—they're pretty moderate when it comes to when you're talking about conservatives, they're still conservative, but a moderate conservative nonetheless—they don't win presidential elections.  Conservatives—Nixon, Reagan, Bush—they won elections because they were clear conservatives all the way through.

I'm not for Newt, I'm with Newt!
