Ed: Mitt Romney is visiting Ohio this weekend.  When I hear him talk I don't get a feel that he even understands the middle class.

Sherry: I don't think any of Romney's policies meet the needs of middle class people.  I don't think he cares.  I don't think he thinks about, I don't think he has a clue what goes on in middle class America.

Matt: Mitt Romney's plan is the exact same things that got us in this problem in the first place.

Sherry: He wants to go back to the Bush days.  We don't need to go back.  We've tried that.  It did not work.

Ed: It's tax cuts for the wealthiest people in the country...

Bonnie: Five trillion dollars, is that what it was?  Five trillion dollars and he hasn't even said how that would be paid for.

Ed: It's certainly not supporting the middle class.

Sherry: He says, I know how to create jobs.

Jim: The big companies that he did that with, he shipped those jobs overseas.  Those people that had those jobs here don't have them anymore.

Matt: If we return to those policies, the middle class is going to be destroyed.

Male (audio): It comes down to the middle class common American working families.

Ed: The biggest reason I continue to support the president is I believe we need to give him a chance to complete the job.

Matt: I understand that when times are tough, people are impatient.  They want things to be fixed right away.  It took eight years to put us in this hole.  We've only been at it for 3 1/2 years at fixing it.

How many millions of jobs have we recreated?  Obama has saved the auto industry which Mitt Romney said let it crash.

Sherry: I think President Obama is fighting very hard for what we would call the American Dream which is simply to have a decent job that pays a decent wage, put our kids through college and be able to retire when it's time to do so.  Obama has the middle class at heart.  Everything does says I want this country to succeed, I want this country back on its feet, and it's the middle class that puts it there.  He gets it.  Romney doesn't.
