Radio

Obama: I'm Barack Obama and I approve this message.

[Music] Male Announcer: Back in the day it was President Clinton who got this country back on point.   He knows what it takes to get people working again.  So listen to the man break down this election.

Clinton (clip): The Republican argument against the president's re-election is actually pretty simple.  We left him a total mess.  He hasn't cleaned it up fast enough so fire him and put us back in [audience laughs].  'Cause they want to go back to the same old policies that got us in trouble in the first place, and they want to make enormous cuts in the rest of the budget, especially programs that help the middle class and poor children.  We think the country works better with a strong middle class.  If you want a country of shared opportunities and shared responsibility, a we're-all-in-this-together society, you should vote for Barack Obama and Joe Biden [cheers].

Male Announcer: You heard the man.  We need to show President Obama we've got his back.

Female Announcer:  Show the president we've got his back.  Get registered and vote.  Go to GottaRegister.com.

Obama: Paid for by Obama for America.

Notes: This ad and "Ronnie," released the same day, clearly target the African American audience.  According to the press release...

“On Point” features former President Bill Clinton discussing the clear choice in this election between moving forward with President Obama’s vision to create an economy that’s built to last, or going back to the same failed top-down economic policies that crashed our economy and punished the middle class.
