Obama for America

"Lo mismo de siempre" +

:30 ad from Nov. 2, 2012 run in So. FL.

Obama (clip from March 21, 2011 speech): “We will continue to seek ways to increase the independence of the Cuban people, who I believe are entitled to the same freedom and liberty as everyone else.”

Manny Díaz: …y seguirá trabajando en serio, junto con nosotros, a favor de una Cuba libre y democrática.

De eso no queda duda.

Obama (voiceover): Soy Barack Obama y apruebo este mensaje.

Seen Mitt Romney’s attack ads, exploiting our long-suffering Cuban community?

We are tired of the same old rhetoric.

President Obama doesn’t want to mislead us with demagoguery… he wants the same thing we do…

[Obama quote]

… and he’s serious about continuing to work with us towards a free and democratic Cuba.

No doubt about it

Notes: Response to the Romney ad "Chávez Por Obama" (Oct. 30).

From the press release...

Obama for America released a new television advertisement today featuring former Miami Mayor Manny Diaz, titled “Lo mismo de siempre”. The ad is a response to the latest sign of desperation from Mitt Romney’s campaign, which is falsely attacking the President’s strong record on Latin America. In the ad, former Mayor Diaz contrasts how while the Romney campaign is exploiting the suffering of the Cuban people for political gain, President Obama is committed to increasing the independence of the Cuban people, and believes they are entitled to the same freedom and liberty as everyone else.
