Restore Our Future

"Saved" +
:30 ad run in MI, Feb. 23, 2012.

[Music] Robert Gay: My fourteen year-old daughter had disappeared in New York City for three days.  No one could find her.

My business partner had stepped forward to take charge.  He closed the company and brought almost all our employees to New York.

He said, 'I don't care how long it takes – we're going to find her.'

He set up a command center and searched through the night.  The man who helped save my daughter was Mitt Romney.

Mitt's done a lot of things that people say are nearly impossible.  But for me, the most important thing he's ever done is to help save my daughter.

Notes: This is a "recycled" ad; with a few minor changes it is virtually identical to the ad "Searched" run by the 2007-08 Romney for President campaign starting Dec. 19, 2007 in New Hampshire.  NBC's Domenico Montanaro reported that Save Our Future bought the rights to the footage from the media firm that produced the 2007 ad.

[Also, compare with the Revolution PAC ad "The Compassion of Dr. Ron Paul."  Both are narrated stories of the now candidates personally helping people].
