Notes:
Visitation - Yosemite is the third most visited National Park in the United States after the Great Smoky Mountains and the Grand Canyon.  2012 visitation was down somewhat from the preceding years, possibly because of the hantavirus.  Numbers for 2011 were 4,098,648 and for 2010 4,047,880.  The highest number was 4,190,557 in 1996. 

Campgrounds - Outside the Valley there are also 16 group camps (463 max. people) and 9 horse camps (54 max. people).

Lodging Facilities - Run by DNC Parks & Resorts at Yosemite Inc.: The Ahwahnee, Yosemite Lodge, Curry Village, Housekeeping Camp, Wawona Hotel, Tuolumne Lodge, White Wolf, and the High Sierra camps.
