to green meadows, Yosemite has plenty of views to inspire.  While one may be tempted to simply stop in at the designated observation areas and take some photos, oftentimes if one goes on a short hike or even walks up the trail just a bit or to the periphery of a site (taking care not to go in prohibited, fragile or dangerous areas) one will be rewarded by additional interesting perspectives and details.
