Travels of Vice President Joe Biden—May 2012

President Barack Obama  First Lady Michelle Obama   Vice President Joe Biden  ||  Former Gov. Mitt Romney

A signature trip for Biden in May was his May 16-17 travels in Ohio's Mahoning Valley.  On this trip, in addition to the two events he did to "highlight President Obama’s efforts to strengthen the region’s manufacturing and auto industries," Biden made a number of unannounced stops.  Biden's campaign travels also took him to New Hampshire on May 22 and Charlotte on May 24.  He did seven fundraisers in the month.  Biden also delivered the commencement address to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point on May 26.
