February 11, 2011--Former Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R-MN)'s speech at last year's CPAC was seen as a bit flat, but this year he gave a well-received speech with a fair number of zingers in it.  For example, Pawlenty's line that, "I’m not one who questions the existence of the President’s birth certificate.  But when you listen to his policies, don’t you at least wonder what planet he’s from?" prompted enthusiastic applause. "The policies of the left encroach every day on the very freedom that has made this country great," Pawlenty declared. "We will never, ever, ever stop fighting for our freedom."   Pawlenty said, "We need leaders who remember where they came from, and what made this nation the greatest country the world has ever known.
