Notes: September 27 is an interesting day for a couple of reasons.  The intensity of political/presidential ads reaches its highest level yet at 73.5% of ads and ad time.  One possibility is that the increase is tied to the upcoming debate on October 3 at the University of Denver.  However, if that were the case one would expect to see high levels on September 28; instead there were relatively few ads from the campaigns themselves on that day.  Also noteworthy on September 27 is the way the Romney ads led off the ad breaks.
