Crossroads GPS Ads, 2011-12

From the "failed stimulus" to Solyndra to high gas prices to the deficit and debt, Crossroads GPS produced a series of ads sharply critical of President Obama. In one interesting ad, "Basketball," the woman actress states, "I supported President Obama because he spoke so beautifully.  He promised change, but things changed for the worse."  From May 17 to the end of July the ads concluded with a tag line promoting a "New Majority Agenda."  After July, Crossroads GPS appeared to run just a couple of paid ads focusing on Obama.  Crossroads GPS' final ad, "Mitt and David" marked an effort to present Romney as someone who cares about people.  According to the Sunlight Foundation Reporting Group's "Follow the Unlimited Money" (+), Crossroads GPS spent $15.3 million on independent expenditures opposing Obama and $6.8 million on independent expenditures supporting Romney.

Ed. Note: There was another  interesting ad "Mesa de Cocina" from Oct. 30, 2012, but I have not been able to confirm that if it actually aired or was a web video.
